Rise early to beat the heat and the crowds at Bangkok's most dazzling landmarks: the glittering Grand Palace, the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, and the riverside spires of Wat Arun. In the afternoon, hop aboard a traditional longtail boat and cruise the city's back canals for a completely different side of Bangkok, before finishing the day with a feast through the food stalls of Chinatown.

Work out those travel knots with a traditional Thai massage, then spend the day browsing a bustling local market and soaking up some well-earned free time in the city. As evening falls, head to the station and board the legendary overnight sleeper train — rock yourself to sleep as Bangkok gives way to the jungles and countryside of southern Thailand.

Wake up deep in the rainforest and set out onto the otherworldly waters of Cheow Lan Lake. Towering limestone karsts rise straight out of jade-green water as you cruise by longtail boat, jumping in for a swim, paddling a kayak, and soaking up one of Thailand's most jaw-dropping natural landscapes.

A slow start to the day is exactly what island life calls for. Once you've had your fill of hammock time, lace up for a beginner-friendly Muay Thai lesson and get a taste of Thailand's national sport. Watch the sunset melt over the water before an optional night out at the beach bars or night market.

Set sail around Koh Phangan's coastline, hopping between hidden beaches and vibrant snorkelling spots. Spend the day in and out of the water, with a leisurely island lunch onboard between swim stops — a full day of sun, sea, and salt water.

Catch the ferry to Koh Tao, Thailand's diving capital, and spend the afternoon getting your bearings around laid-back Sairee Beach. As the sun dips low, climb to a scenic viewpoint for uninterrupted views over the island and the sea beyond.

Board a traditional longtail boat bound for Koh Nang Yuan — three islands connected by a single, famous white-sand sandbar. Climb to the panoramic viewpoint for one of Thailand's most photographed views, then spend the rest of the day swimming and snorkelling in the clear water below.

The island is yours today. Strap on a tank for a scuba dive, snorkel over the reefs, hike to a hidden viewpoint, or simply do nothing at all on the beach — however you spend it, Koh Tao is built for a free day well earned.

Today is the big travel adventure as we cross from Thailand's Gulf coast to the Andaman Sea. After breakfast, begin the journey by ferry and overland transfer before continuing toward the Phi Phi Islands. Although this is a longer travel day, it is part of the experience, giving you time to relax, share travel stories and enjoy the changing scenery of southern Thailand. Upon arriving at Phi Phi, check into the hotel and head out to explore the island's pedestrian streets, small shops, restaurants and beaches. Finish the day with sunset by the sea and, for those who want to continue, enjoy Phi Phi's lively evening atmosphere. Overnight on Phi Phi Island.

Free at leisure, Spend a full day island-hopping around Phi Phi's dramatic coastline, cruising into the impossibly turquoise Maya Bay — made famous on the big screen — and the sheltered cliffs of Pileh Lagoon. After breakfast, take the ferry from Phi Phi to Phuket and continue to the final destination of your Thailand adventure. After checking into the hotel, explore Phuket Old Town and discover its colourful Sino-Portuguese architecture, local cafés, street art, markets and traditional food. Spend the afternoon enjoying some free time to shop, taste local dishes or simply relax before heading to the coast for a beautiful sunset. In the evening, gather together for a final WANDERLINK farewell dinner, sharing your favourite memories from the past two weeks, followed by optional drinks or a visit to one of Phuket's lively night markets. Enjoy a relaxed final morning in Phuket with no early schedule. After breakfast, take some time to enjoy the hotel pool, visit the beach, have a final Thai massage, explore a local café or pick up some last-minute souvenirs. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy one final Thai lunch before meeting the group for your airport transfer. As the journey comes to an end, say goodbye to your fellow travellers and leave Thailand with two weeks of jungle adventures, island discoveries, new friendships and unforgettable memories.
